Art for (W)All: Shared Spaces and Art Accessibility
From graffiti and tagging-inspired works to classical realist painting, public murals on the streets of Toledo represent the vast and diverse populations that thrive there and offer a connection between peoples of all ethnicities, economic standings and walks of life, aiding the cohesion of a diverse urban population. Art for W(All) is a mini documentary by one of Midstory's 2019 summer interns about the street art and murals of Downtown Toledo, including interviews with artists from across the community.
Midstory is a 501(c)(3) non-profit thinkhub that progresses the narrative of the Midwest by incubating bright, diverse and interdisciplinary thinkers to exchange ideas and envision the future of our region through multimedia storytelling and solutions-oriented research since its founding in 2018.
As an educational media organization, we inform, interpret and inspire in and for the Midwest and believe that our region’s challenges can be our greatest asset to drive renewed interest and human capital into post-industrial cities.
